I have one of AC soft wash systems. The other week one of my lead guy left the pump on for 16 hours running dry!! Don't ask me how him or the assistant did not hear the pump running??? believe it or not the pump still works like it is brand new . I would not recommend anyone else trying this test!

WOW put the myth busters on that one???? I didnt know bleach exposure caused hearing loss..lol
The other day when I mixed my first batch, I first diluted all my ch in 3 gallons of water in a bucket. I added one scoop at a time as I stirred it . I stirred it for at least 30 minutes. I figured it was dissolved by then and I couldnt stand the smell any longer even though I had a mask on. I then added water to my tank, then my mix , then topped the tank with water. Agitated under the surface with my wand for another 20 minutes. I came down after my first coat to let it dwell. I noticed a distinct color difference in my tank. From the middle to the bottom was considerably darker than the top. I assumed setteling and agitated it more. My question is, did I not agitate it long enough? When I emptied the bucket I had very few granuals of ch in the bottom . I plan to get a 55 to mix in with an electric motor and a big paint paddle, then transfer it to my service tank. My thinking is with the entire 35 gallons of water mixing I might get better dissolution. Thanks in advance John
I've been thinking about a name too " Roof Busters" , just kicking around options.
Is this thread regarding mixing with SH, or CH, I will be one batching in my 50 gallon tank, and I was not aware of the fact that I needed to mix up my tank if I was using SH, is it a good idea to mix it up for a bit then. Thoughts

Shaun when batching with CH it takes more prep time for it to go into solution. With SH no pre prep time just add water.
yes. you need to mix the soap, SH and water. depending on system you are using, it can easily be done by putting spray wand into your mix and using it to recirculated mix
If you are one batching following a roof cleaning, it is very important to run the existing mix in your hose back into you mixing tank so the first bit of area of a delicate surface is not hit with roof strength mixes.
The simple step Mike is suggesting will solve that potential issue by allowing the hotter mix to be diluted into your new house mix you are making in your batching tank.
